Financial Policy Research Institute
The Research Institute of Financial Policy is the main structural unit of the State Tax University, which carries out unique research in the field of finance and taxation, financial law and customs and supports the implementation of their results in practice.
The Financial Policy Research Institute is headed by Nadiia Davydenko, Director, Doctor of Economics, Professor.
Management of the Research Institute of Financial Policy
The main tasks of the Financial Policy Research Institute are:
- planning, organisation, implementation of fundamental and applied research;
- ensuring the implementation of new knowledge obtained as a result of scientific research in the activities of the Ministry of Finance of Ukraine, relevant central executive authorities, in the educational process of the University and other higher education institutions;
- fulfilment of orders from the Ministry of Finance of Ukraine and relevant central executive authorities to develop scientific principles of state financial policy and its individual areas, conduct scientific expertise of draft laws and other regulatory acts in the field of public finance;
- holding scientific, scientific-practical, scientific-methodological conferences, seminars, round tables, meetings and other scientific and practical events, including online events on issues related to the areas of activity of the Financial Policy Research Institute;
- preparation of scientific publications, scientific, methodological and other products on the subject of research conducted by the Financial Policy Research Institute;
- organising and conducting scientific, scientific and technical examinations and other types of expert activities in accordance with the procedure established by law;
- training of scientific personnel, improvement of their qualification, involvement of talented young scientists in the scientific process, as well as promotion of students' scientific creativity in the field of state financial policy, taxation, customs, financial law, etc;
- organising and conducting training, retraining, and advanced training in accordance with the procedure established by law in the field of activity of the Financial Policy Research Institute;
- providing paid services to legal entities, individuals and other customers in the field of scientific, scientific and technical, expert, consulting and other activities on a contractual basis;
- cooperation within the framework of direct relations and individual contacts with domestic and foreign partners.
The Financial Policy Research Institute has 4 departments:
- Department of Customs Development;
- Department of Customs and Economic Security;
- Department of International Tax Competition Research;
- Public Finance Research Department.
